Centre Vale Park Todmorden Visited on:- 28-09-2023 My Experience:- This is my first visit to this park and I must say I am really impressed on how accessible it is. Unfortunately I don't know how accessible the toilets are as we didn't have much time, but the Calderdale website says it does have disabled toilets and you will need a radar key for access. This is such a big park with a play area for kids. It has a skate board playing area and a separate exercise park. They also have picnic benches and single ones too. You can see how well this park has been looked after, with all the beautiful flowers ,trees, butterflies, squirrel and bumble bees etc. There are lots of signs and history information about the wars. It has a bandstand and a bowling area. This is such a beautiful park that we could walk all the way around. there is so much history, which was so interesting. We had a lovely walk around the whole park and I met some new lovely people who joined us on our walk too. T

Steve Mitchel & Chris Hancox Visited on:- 10/06/2021. Minibus and Community Car Service. My Experience: -  Me and my son who is 2 years old was getting picked up by Community Transport Calderdale to go to Shibden Park. We were greeted by 2 amazing guys called Steve (driver) and Chris, at first before meeting them I was so nervous thinking how will I juggle my wheelchair, little ones car seat and pushchair in their minibus but thankfully they were so welcoming and helpful that I actually forgot I was nervous to begin with. We did have a problem with getting the baby seat in which I felt so bad for them both who tried their best to fit it in but unfortunately they make these baby seats so confusing and hard, even I couldn't explain properly how to do it so I was just as bad. So after their hard effort fighting with it I had to ask my brother  in-law to come down and fit it in because I can't fit it in myself  as it is too heavy and fiddley , so its my twin sister and brother

Vue Halifax

VUE HALIFAX Visited on: 2-11-2018 Entrance 'Automatic Doors' My Experience:- I have been to the Vue a few times since it has opened, and I must say as a wheelchair user myself I have not been to another cinema again. In the past I always used to go to Cineworld in Bradford but I only got to sit at the bottom first row, which meant me looking up through out the entire movie and at the end of it I would end up with a bad neck and back for days. Thanks to the Vue in Halifax they have specifically got balconies at the top back for wheelchair users which is so relaxing and pain free, so I get to enjoy the whole movie. So on this day I went back with Alison to watch Bohemian Rhapsody Movie which was great and then was shown around the Vue by a member of staff so I could do a blog for you all to see what is accessible. Guaranteed to put a smile on your face, providing great fun for the experience motor buff and novice alike. (taken from Hypertrax website) Aisha and Alison My Experience:- When I first saw Hypertrax Arena advert on Facebook I was so excited, and my birthday was coming up and thought this is the best time to treat myself with my partner in crime Alison, and when I say treat I mean it was the best birthday treat I gave myself. The first time I visited Hypertrax Arena was on the 21-09-2018 and as you can see by the expression on our faces above, I was so hyper and excited. The weather was awful it was raining, windy and the tracks was full of big puddles but no way did that stop me! instead it made it more fun lol. I was
