A beautiful place to visit its so relaxing and the views are breath taking its so big I would recommend a few visits to enjoy every part of Hollingworth Lake.  This is wheelchair accessible and so much activities to do there. oh and the fish and chips is Yummy sitting by the lake its so breath taking I have actually been a few times as a wheelchair user myself i'm drawn to this place. There are plenty of cafes, restaurants and pubs around. Its a great place for families, Wheelchair users, dog walkers 

History:-
Hollingworth lake is a 130 acre reservoir at smithy Bridge, in Little-borough part of the Metropolitan Borough of Rochdale in greater Manchester, England. The lake was originally built as the main water source of the Rochdale Canal, but developed as a tourist resort from the 1860s, and became known as the Weighver's Seaport. (taken from wikipedia).

Visitors centre:-
The visitor centre is just off Rakewood Road, and permanent exhibition of local wildlife and heritage, a gallery of artists works, information desk, small shop,cafe, toilet and free to use mobility scooter to hire.

The Wine Press Restaurant/Pub:-
The wine press is a contemporary British Restaurant with stunning views over Hollingworth lake. T wine press serves a mix of traditional and modern, freshly prepared English food. Customers can enjoy a 3 course meal, a light lunch or just a coffee in a warm relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
Ramp
This restaurant is wheelchair accessible inside and outside. There is a wheelchair ramp as shown in the images. It is best to get somebody to open the door to get inside.  It is expensive I have not had any food here just seen the menu.
The food is served everyday from 12pm to 10pm.

There is an accessible toilet within the restaurant it is a bit small as you can see above in the images but is doable.

Accessibility 

There is so much to see especially in the summer it usually very busy but so worth it. It is much calmer in other seasons.

Car Parking:-
The country park has 9 dedicated accessible car parking spaces (at Lake bank and the visitor centre), as well as as 250 standard car spaces. The accessible bays are free.

Footpaths:-
The main footpath around the lake is fully accessible with no gates or styles to navigate. It is also possible to join the Pennine Bridleway direct from the side of the lake.- significantly extending the possibilities for exploring the area.

Mobility Scooters:-
The visitor centre has 2 mobility scooters that are free to hire. They are available whenever the information point is open to public . Call the visitor centre for more details and to book on 01706373421. 

Toilets:-
Hollingsworth Lake has 3 accessible toilets - at Lake Bank, the visitor centre and pavilion cafe. A RADAR key is needed to use these facilities.

Cafes and Catering:- 
There are 2 cafes and a food kiosk within the grounds of the Lake. These are at the Lake Bank, the visitor centre and the Pavilion cafe. All have level access.
